Our Wins Alumnus Philip Fried '66 just published his sixth book of poetry, Interrogating Water (Salmon Poetry, Ireland, 2014). Publishers Weekly called his last book, Early/Late: New and Selected Poems (Salmon, 2011), “skillful and memorable” and British poet Tim Liardet said it was “deeply subversive.”

A newly built covered bridge in Yellow Springs will be dedicated on May 9 in memory of an alumnus, long-time Yellow Springs resident and past Greene County Engineer, Dick Eastman '46—the Richard P. Eastman Hyde Road Covered Bridge.
