Niela Miller ’57, has released an album titled Piano Moods.
Her compositions range from contemporary classical pieces to a few American Songbag arrangements, to some other unique pieces with an old-time feel. The pieces are played by her collaborator, Eric Kamen.
One of the pieces began as a composition exercise when Miller was studying with David Epstein at Antioch in the 1950s. Sixty years later, Miller worked from memory and completed it as “Child’s Play.”
